Delivery Inspection Checklist

Effective Date: February 19, 2025

At Circuit Holdings and its affiliated brands, including but not limited to Circuit Solar, Circuit Sensors, Circuit Weather, and The Off-Grid Solar (each referred to as an “Entity”), we are committed to ensuring your deliveries arrive on time, complete, and free from damage. However, shipping-related issues may occasionally arise. To help mitigate potential problems, please follow this Delivery Checklist.

Important Exception

Customer pickups are exempt from this delivery policy. Once an order is picked up, the responsibility for the materials and their condition transfers to the customer.

For all other deliveries, the following applies:

Damages and Shortages

If damage or a shortage occurs, immediately document the issue on the delivery receipt.

Failure to notate damages on the delivery receipt may prevent Circuit Holdings from filing a claim with the carrier on your behalf.

By signing the delivery receipt, you acknowledge that you accept the materials in their current condition, including any damages, shortages, or incorrect items.

Recommended Practices for Receiving Shipments
1. Photograph Your Shipment

  • Take clear photos of the pallets as they are unloaded from the truck.
  • Capture images of any visible damage to packaging or pallets.

2. Inspect the Shipment for Issues
Panels

  • Confirm that all panels are present.
  • Inspect for damages, including:
  • Broken pallet feet or compromised packaging (dents, punctures, tears).
  • Signs of damage to individual panels, such as broken corner clips or signs of imbalance.
  • Ensure the top and bottom panels are intact with no visible glass shards.

If damage is found, note it on the delivery receipt before signing and take photos of each damaged panel with serial numbers.

Rails

  • Confirm that all rails are included.
  • Check for bent or damaged rail ends.
  • Inspect the wrapping or plastic for tears.
  • Document and photograph any damage before signing the delivery receipt.

Other Items/Pallets

  • Retrieve the packing slip and conduct a quick inventory check:
    • Ensure correct quantities.
    • Verify matching item numbers.

For multiple shipments, cross-reference tracking numbers from the shipping confirmation email.

If receiving packages via FedEx, Purolator, UPS, or other couriers, verify tracking details online or contact us at orders@circuitholdings.com or 1-877-352-5394.

Reporting Damages by Courier

To remain eligible for a claim, customers must report damage or shortages within 7 days of delivery.

  • Mark the delivery receipt as “damaged” or “short” while the driver is present.
  • Capture photos of each damaged item, including serial numbers.
  • Notify our Returns team immediately at
    • Circuit Solar
    • Circuit Sensors
    • Circuit Weather
    • The Off-Grid Solar

Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery to qualify for a warranty replacement or refund.

Important Notes

Circuit Holdings will not issue replacements or refunds for damages reported after the 7-day period.

Only one warranty replacement shipment per claim will be issued. If the replacement is also lost, damaged, or incorrect, no further replacements or refunds will be provided, and Circuit Holdings will not be responsible for fulfilling the order again.
