Circuit Sensors Return and Exchange Policy

General Returns

  • Eligibility: Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
  • Condition: Products must be new, unused, and in their original packaging to qualify for a return.
  • Restocking Fee: A 25% restocking fee will be applied to all returned items.
  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Opened, used, or damaged products are not eligible for returns. A $150 inspection fee will apply to such items.

Exchanges

  • Eligibility: Exchanges are allowed within 30 days of purchase.
  • Condition: Items must be new, unused, and in their original packaging.
  • Process: To initiate an exchange, contact us at sales@circuitsensors.com for instructions.
  • Restocking Fee: A 25% restocking fee applies to all exchanges.
  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for shipping costs for both the return and the exchanged product.

Non-Returnable Products

  • Final Sale: All custom-built products, open-box items, and items purchased through special order are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Large Orders: For orders exceeding $5,000, returns or exchanges may be limited, and a 35% restocking fee will apply if approved.

Return Process

  • RMA Number: Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by emailing sales@circuitsensors.com.
  • Packaging: Securely package the item and include the RMA number and proof of purchase.
  • Return Address: Ship to Circuit Sensors, Attn: Returns, RMA#: 130 Loring Way, PO Box 721, Lytton BC, V0K1Z0.
  • Shipping Method: Use a trackable shipping method for returns, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments.

Refunds

  • Inspection: Refunds will be processed upon inspection of the returned item, typically within 10 business days.
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or as store credit, depending on customer preference.
  • Credit Card Fees: A 2.9% + $0.30 fee will be deducted from the refund amount to cover credit card processing fees.
  • Shipping Fees: Original shipping fees will not be refunded
  • Billing Cycles: Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your statement.

Defective or Damaged Products

  • Reporting: If a product is defective or damaged upon arrival, contact us within 7 days of delivery for further assistance.
  • Resolution: We will work with you to provide a replacement, repair, or refund based on the situation.

Important Notes

  • Restocking Fee: A 35% restocking fee applies to all returns and exchanges.
  • Shipping Costs: Initial shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • RMA Required: No returns will be processed without an RMA number.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Items that do not meet return eligibility criteria will be returned to the customer at their expense.
